Here in New South Wales, Australia, under certain conditions, as you reach the age of 60 as a citizen, you can apply for a Seniors Card, entitling you to a range of savings regarding transport and entertainment, as well as access to information feeds. Having reached this August age … tee hee … recently, we thought we’d go and apply, and see whether a “heads up” for some of you is the go.

There are two levels of Seniors Card type based on hours of work per week. Other than that, all that is required for identity purposes are …

  • postal address
  • name … matching …
  • medicare (card) number

… allowing you to apply, totally online, with no image attachments of any kind needed. Pretty simple really, in the whole scheme of governmental registrations.
