Lasseter and his Reef

Here in Australia, during the depression of the 1930’s we had the genesis of one of the most incredible, unbelievable adventure mystery “gothic” discovery stories to ever emerge, known as “Lasseter’s Reef” (revolving around Harold Lasseter … biography), who purported to have found a 15 kilometer reef of gold west of Alice Springs in the Peterson Ranges.

Warren Brown, author of Lasseter’s Gold (ISBN 9780733631757), joins Richard Fidler on Conversations at ABC Radio on 20th July 2016 for a story you shouldn’t miss. This last link should work for a few days from this broadcast date … else use previous link to find the podcast, as available.
