It's Time\" href='https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/album\/6hcG1Pv1KmRjcQoAx0rhQL' rel=\"noopener\">It&#8217;s Time<\/a> album YouTube &#8220;audio only part of video&#8221; <a href='#mbp'>links<\/a> within the <a title='QuickTime Player Camera Filters Recording Primer Tutorial' href='#qtpcfrpt'>QuickTime Player Camera Filters Recording Primer Tutorial<\/a> it represented, we believe, the first time for us regarding &#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Google Chrome tests on this macOS Sequoia 15.3.1 MacBook Air involving these class=<i>audioytplay<\/i> since it seemed to be the case that Live Captions on were the default setting for when Google Chrome detects audio being played and it can feasibly determine the Audio to Text in order to be able to create ticker-tape style Live Captions (and can be configured to not show them too, so we&#8217;ve &#8220;parked&#8221; Chrome as &#8220;great, all good and fully controllable as far as the user experience goes&#8221;) &#8230; but, where we wondered about other web browsers and found that &#8230;<\/li>\n<li>Safari web browser, within the same operating system, <a target=\"_blank\" href='https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?client=safari&#038;rls=en&#038;q=does+safari+feature+live+captions+yet&#038;ie=UTF-8&#038;oe=UTF-8' rel=\"noopener\">relies on<\/a> &#8230;\n<ol>\n<li>macOS operating system version &#8230; check<\/li>\n<li>Chip type &#8230; check<\/li>\n<li>Accessibility settings (ie. <a target=\"_blank\" href='https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?client=safari&#038;rls=en&#038;q=macOS+Live+Captions+does+not+appear+in+system+settings+accessibility+menus&#038;ie=UTF-8&#038;oe=UTF-8' rel=\"noopener\">macOS Live Captions does not appear in system settings accessibility menus<\/a>) &#8230; we needed research, because <a target=\"_blank\" href='https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?client=safari&#038;rls=en&#038;q=does+safari+feature+live+captions+yet&#038;ie=UTF-8&#038;oe=UTF-8' rel=\"noopener\">we initially found no Live Captions were being played<\/a> for the same links on which Google Chrome did create Live Captions<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> &#8230; and so that is the topic for today&#8217;s research.<\/p>\n<p>Well, we think it happened after following some advice, further down, on <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">macOS Live Captions does not appear in system settings accessibility menus<\/a>, then changing my macOS System Language from English (Australian) to English (US) &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img src='\/\/www.rjmprogramming.com.au\/Mac\/live_captions-enus.jpg' style='width:98%;'><\/img><\/p>\n<p> &#8230; and on the subsequent reboot of our MacBook Air, that at some stage the actual Accessibility menu Live Captions submenu started appearing &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img src='\/\/www.rjmprogramming.com.au\/Mac\/live_captions-accessibility.jpg' style='width:98%;'><\/img><\/p>\n<p> &#8230; and then, for us, Safari could be categorised to that same &#8220;great, all good and fully controllable as far as the user experience goes&#8221; as far as Live Captions goes that we&#8217;d categorised Google Chrome earlier on.  Mind you, the Google Chrome version offers live <a target=\"_blank\" title='Google Translate' href='http:\/\/translate.google.com' rel=\"noopener\">Google Translate<\/a> functionality as the Live Captions are presented, which the Safari version does not offer. Well, if you have &#8230;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>an iPhone<\/li>\n<li>Camera app &#8230;<\/li>\n<li>a macOS MacBook Air (perhaps)<\/li>\n<li>QuickTime Player desktop app<\/li>\n<li>Apple white lead connected between the two<\/li>\n<li>in QuickTime Player &#8230; File -&gt; New Movie Recording<\/li>\n<li>at dropdown next to Record button select the appropriate iPhone streaming (is it &#8220;channel&#8221;?)<\/li>\n<li>in Camera app get to six dots menu &#8230;<\/li>\n<li>Filters &#8230;<\/li>\n<li>in QuickTime Player click Record of &#8220;run your finger through them a bit like that piano rendition fancy ending to a concert or song&#8221; &#8230;<\/li>\n<li>when finished use File -&gt; Export As &#8230; a choice &#8230; exports to *.mov &#8230; and then &#8230;<\/li>\n<li>at Terminal macOS app type in (for us) &#8230;<br \/>\n<code><br \/>\nffmpeg -i  camera_filters.mov  camera_filters.mp4<br \/>\n<\/code>\n<\/li>\n<li>upload to public web server at RJM Programming website as per &#8230;<br \/>\n<video controls><source src='\/\/www.rjmprogramming.com.au\/Mac\/iPhone\/camera_filters.mp4' type=video\/mp4><\/source><\/video>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p id=mbp>?
