How so? Well, here in Sydney, Australia, the ABC Radio channels rearranged their digital signals (ie. we take it the frequencies changed?) So we got a Triple J surprise in the morning that tweaked us for the need to “rescan radio channels” for all these …

DAB …

Digital audio broadcasting (DAB) is a digital radio standard for broadcasting digital audio radio services in many countries around the world but not in North America where HD Radio is the standard for digital radio.

playing of …

FM

AM

… radio channels which might be of interest … though we find the ABC offerings enough, for the most part.

As you’d expect for the design of these DAB Mode players you don’t want to make a radio rescan easily able to be stumbled upon, and as such, you might be like me, dreading “radio channel” rescans, and daylight saving clock resets in equal measure. As such, we’re showing today an animated GIF presentation to inspire those not yet able to face this task here in Sydney, of rescanning the radio channels on their DAB player.

If this was interesting you may be interested in this too.

A couple of days ago we realized how much digital radio there was in the house, though not in the car, curiously.
