For us, the answer to this is, yes, it is possible, but life is much easier if you learn some HTML.<\/p>\n<p>Supposing you work on a MacBook Pro, and even before considering the use of a local web server like MAMP for Apache\/PHP\/MySql for a Mac OS X environment, you want to output HTML but not see any of the goings on regarding the HTML?<\/p>\n<p>Well, you could use Document Processing suites like <a target=_blank title='Microsoft Office' href='http:\/\/www.microsoftstore.com\/BuyOffice\u200e'>Microsoft Office<\/a> or <a target=_blank title='LibreOffice' href='http:\/\/www.openoffice.org\/\u200e'>OpenOffice<\/a> or <a target=_blank title='LibreOffice' href='http:\/\/www.libreoffice.org\/\u200e'>LibreOffice<\/a>, but we did some research via <a target=_blank title='Google search' href='https:\/\/www.google.com.au\/search?q=best+free+wysiwyg+html+editor&#038;ie=utf-8&#038;oe=utf-8&#038;gws_rd=cr&#038;ei=t6zgVv28PIPhmAWsrYT4CQ#q=best+free+wysiwyg+html+editor+mac+os+x'>this Mac specific search link<\/a> and arrived at a great product called <a target=_blank title='SeaMonkey' href='http:\/\/www.seamonkey-project.org\/'>SeaMonkey<\/a>, written by those same geniuses as gave us the FireFox web browser, the Mozilla Foundation. You&#8217;ll see other choices of ways to go with that web search, as well.<\/p>\n<p>Okay, so we want to show you some SeaMonkey screenshots of &#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the install process<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rjmprogramming.com.au\/Mac\/SeaMonkey\/SeaMonkey-205of.jpg\"><\/img><\/li>\n<li>the opening of an existant web page &#8230; the SeaMonkey home page<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rjmprogramming.com.au\/Mac\/SeaMonkey\/SeaMonkey-210of.jpg\"><\/img><\/li>\n<li>the amendment of that page in a <a target=_blank title='What You See Is What You Get information from Wikipedia ... thanks' href='https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/WYSIWYG'>WYSIWYG<\/a> non-HTML SeaMonkey editor window<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rjmprogramming.com.au\/Mac\/SeaMonkey\/SeaMonkey-211of.jpg\"><\/img<\/li>\n<li>the Save As window<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rjmprogramming.com.au\/Mac\/SeaMonkey\/SeaMonkey-213of.jpg\"><\/img<\/li>\n<li>the view of that page in HTML source and a further amendment in that view, with a Save<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rjmprogramming.com.au\/Mac\/SeaMonkey\/SeaMonkey-216of.jpg\"><\/img<\/li>\n<li>the view of that saved work in a different web browser window<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rjmprogramming.com.au\/Mac\/SeaMonkey\/SeaMonkey-217of.jpg\"><\/img<\/li>\n<li>the creation of new HTML file from scratch in a WYSIWYG SeaMonkey window and shown below &#8230;<br \/>\n<iframe src='http:\/\/www.rjmprogramming.com.au\/Mac\/SeaMonkey\/TheRainInSpain.html' title='The Rain in Spain'><\/iframe><br \/>\n&#8230; which you can compare to a WordPress HTML editing window way to achieve the same thing below &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The rain<br \/>\nin Spain<br \/>\nfalls mainly<br \/>\non the plain.\n<\/li>\n<li>the ability to code for HTML table elements in a WYSIWYG editor window<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rjmprogramming.com.au\/Mac\/SeaMonkey\/SeaMonkey-220of.jpg\"><\/img<\/li>\n<li>the ability to manage image content (linked perhaps) via the &#8220;Image&#8221; functionality<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rjmprogramming.com.au\/Mac\/SeaMonkey\/SeaMonkey-223of.jpg\"><\/img<\/li>\n<li>the ability to upload your contents via the &#8220;Publish&#8221; functionality<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rjmprogramming.com.au\/Mac\/SeaMonkey\/SeaMonkey-222of.jpg\"><\/img<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> &#8230; or view the whole <a target=_blank href=\"http:\/\/www.rjmprogramming.com.au\/Mac\/SeaMonkey\/\" title='click picture'>slideshow<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Please note SeaMonkey&#8217;s &#8220;Link&#8221; functionality to create HTML <i>a<\/i> tags and there is a &#8220;Spell&#8221; checker as well.<\/p>\n<p>Please note, also, that SeaMonkey can be downloaded to work for Windows or Linux operating systems, as well.<\/p>\n<p>To create blog post content, you can do well with this functionality and not have to touch much HTML except perhaps the copy and paste of HTML produced by SeaMonkey!<\/p>\n<p>If this was interesting you may be interested in <a title='Click here to see topics in which you might be interested' href='#d20591' onclick='var dv=document.getElementById(\"d20591\"); dv.innerHTML = \"&lt;iframe width=670 height=600 src=\" + \"https:\/\/www.rjmprogramming.com.au\/ITblog\/tag\/editor\" + \"&gt;&lt;\/iframe&gt;\"; dv.style.display = \"block\";'>this<\/a> too.<\/p>\n<div id='d20591' style='display: none; border-left: 2px solid green; border-top: 2px solid green;'><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s common to be asked whether you can run a blog not knowing any HTML.
