{"id":18378,"date":"2015-11-20T05:01:20","date_gmt":"2015-11-19T19:01:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rjmprogramming.com.au\/ITblog\/?p=18378"},"modified":"2025-08-13T11:45:06","modified_gmt":"2025-08-13T01:45:06","slug":"movavi-video-and-audio-slideshow-tutorial","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rjmprogramming.com.au\/ITblog\/movavi-video-and-audio-slideshow-tutorial\/","title":{"rendered":"Movavi Video and Audio Slideshow Tutorial"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"width: 230px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.rjmprogramming.com.au\/Movavi\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:left;border: 15px solid pink;\" alt=\"Movavi Video and Audio Slideshow Tutorial\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rjmprogramming.com.au\/Movavi\/movavi.jpg\" title=\"Movavi Video and Audio Slideshow Tutorial\"  \/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Movavi Video and Audio Slideshow Tutorial<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Today we show some video and audio creation, with a slideshow feeling, on a Macbook Pro using <a target=\"_blank\" title='Movavi landing page' href='http:\/\/www.movavi.com' rel=\"noopener\">Movavi<\/a> video and audio creator and editor.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately we end up with a YouTube clip as below &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/k8015YUEeC0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>So, roughly speaking, what was involved &#8230;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>On a Macbook Pro, surfed the web to <a target=\"_blank\" title='Movavi landing page' href='http:\/\/www.movavi.com' rel=\"noopener\">Movavi<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Clicked the Download button<\/li>\n<li>When finished download, clicked the resultant download button then clicked the install *.dmg<\/li>\n<li>Opened up the Movavi desktop application<\/li>\n<li>Saw the drag and drop area to place image files (which had previously been located in Finder)<\/li>\n<li>Drag and dropped the individual image files to make up the video <br \/><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:left;border: 15px solid pink;\" alt=\"Movavi Video and Audio Primer Tutorial\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rjmprogramming.com.au\/Movavi\/movavi-4of.jpg\" title=\"Movavi Video and Audio Primer Tutorial\"  \/><br \/><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:left;border: 15px solid pink;\" alt=\"Movavi Video and Audio Primer Tutorial\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rjmprogramming.com.au\/Movavi\/movavi-5of.jpg\" title=\"Movavi Video and Audio Primer Tutorial\"  \/><\/li>\n<li>Added a Crossfade transition via the Transition button to the left of Microphone button<\/li>\n<li>Played video and was happy<\/li>\n<li>Added an audio track to entire video clip via Microphone button <br \/><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:left;border: 15px solid pink;\" alt=\"Movavi Video and Audio Primer Tutorial\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rjmprogramming.com.au\/Movavi\/movavi-10of.jpg\" title=\"Movavi Video and Audio Primer Tutorial\"  \/><\/li>\n<li>Clicked the Export button and Saved to a Movavi project folder <br \/><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:left;border: 15px solid pink;\" alt=\"Movavi Video and Audio Primer Tutorial\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rjmprogramming.com.au\/Movavi\/movavi-11of.jpg\" title=\"Movavi Video and Audio Primer Tutorial\"  \/><\/li>\n<li>Used Finder&#8217;s Get Info method to rename the resultant *.mp4 file to more self explanatory name<\/li>\n<li>Double clicked the *.mp4 in Finder to play the clip and saw that it was okay &#8230; and the rest concerns that optional upload to YouTube as you see fit &#8230;<\/li>\n<li>On a Macbook Pro, surfed the web to <a target=\"_blank\" title='YouTube landing page' href='http:\/\/www.youtube.com' rel=\"noopener\">YouTube<\/a> (having been already logged into Gmail, so was logged into a YouTube channel &#8230; otherwise you need to register for a YouTube Channel by following YouTube help instructions here)<\/li>\n<li>Clicked the Upload button and selected my *.mp4 file <br \/><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:left;border: 15px solid pink;\" alt=\"Movavi Video and Audio Primer Tutorial\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rjmprogramming.com.au\/Movavi\/movavi-14of.jpg\" title=\"Movavi Video and Audio Primer Tutorial\"  \/> or dragged it into place<\/li>\n<li>Filled in form details, before clicking the Publish button, to make the video public on YouTube<\/li>\n<li>Optionally, selected the Email link to test out sharing the video va an Email message, and that all worked too <br \/><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:left;border: 15px solid pink;\" alt=\"Movavi Video and Audio Primer Tutorial\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rjmprogramming.com.au\/Movavi\/movavi-18of.jpg\" title=\"Movavi Video and Audio Primer Tutorial\"  \/><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>That shows Movavi video and audio creation, with that slideshow feeling, but there are more editing features in Movavi that you can further explore.<\/p>\n<p>Movavi and Apple&#8217;s <a target=\"_blank\" title='Apple iMovie information' href='http:\/\/www.apple.com\/mac\/imovie\/' rel=\"noopener\">iMovie<\/a> are both options for this type of work to create &#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>slideshows<\/li>\n<li>videos<\/li>\n<li>videos with audio<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Movavi can be used to edit video files that were captured as videos (ie. not a slideshow derived from individual photo snapshots, as today&#8217;s video creation involved) from other devices too, so am sure you can see how useful this could be.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, take a look at our <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.rjmprogramming.com.au\/Movavi\" title='Click picture' rel=\"noopener\">slideshow<\/a> explaining Movavi, today, and thanks for reading.
