Changing the Reel Primer Tutorial<\/p><\/div>\n

Yesterday’s Image Fits in Gimp and Paintbrush Primer Tutorial<\/a> as shown below, set me to thinking more about video playing and synchronization of playing (videos). Synchronization of the playing of videos is a bit of a misnomer these days because the days of “autoplay” not meaning you have to hit a button, have taken a big beating since the advent of mobile platforms. In this sense why “kick a dead horse” and why not think of more arrangements for video playing that could be useful.<\/p>\n

With that in mind, we made up a “Change the Reel” web application where the user starts the videos, and controls it … maybe they want synchronization (and perhaps they’ll achieve it) or maybe they want to play one after the other (and that is like “Changing the Reel”) … but whatever way, they click\/touch buttons to make things happen.<\/p>\n

This is the initial draft of the program, and can think of more friendly things to do, with it, for the future, but this will stand for now. Why not try it with some videos you know? We try it, today, with our tutorial, with the videos of yesterday’s tutorial.<\/p>\n

PHP software wise we created a new PHP programming source code file called change_the_reel_video.php<\/a> and an updated video_generic.php<\/a> that changed for our purposes in this way<\/a> … and here is our live run<\/a> link.<\/p>\n
